About Us
Scouting began in 1907 with a camp of a few boys on Brownsea Island and over the last century has evolved into one of the largest youth organisations on the planet. We strive to encourage personal growth and a sense of adventure to help them throughout their lives. Our group over the last 50 years has supported the development and learning of young people from around Bournemouth. We are open to anyone. Any gender and any ability, Scouting has a place for everyone.
