How we are operating during COVID-19. Keeping Safe, Meeting Regularly, Having Fun!

Following the latest Government advice, The Scout Association and our local Scouting District, have made the decision to suspended any face to face meetings until further notice. However, this does not mean the end of your Scouting! Our leaders have been working behind the scenes to put together a weekly program through Zoom.

Each of the sections meet on Zoom weekly, more or less at their standard meeting time, for all sorts of activities the leaders have put together. From Master Chef style challenges, making well being boxes to support the community and team challenges, the daily fun of Scouting continues.

Whilst restrictions change, often on a weekly basis, the Core Team meet (virtually of course!) to establish a plan for returning to Face to Face meetings. Previously, when having Face to Face meetings back in October and November 2020, these have all been outdoors, often down Kings Park, with fantastic turn out by the sections.
