Our wishlist
Every member pays a monthly fee that covers the day to day running of the sections. However, we need to constantly monitor our equipments maintenance needs, replacing where necessary or investing into new pieces. In the link at the bottom of this page you will find some of the equipment we are currently fundraising for, but this list is not exhaustive. Week by week, our amazing team of volunteers empower over 100 young people to learn new skills, make new friends and stand on their own two feet. They shape young people's lives for the better, and find out a whole lot about themselves in the process, too.That's where you come in...
You don't need to be Bear Grylls to join us. You don't need to have been in Scouting when you were younger. You don't even need to know how to pitch a tent. Our door is open to people of all ages, gender, races and backgrounds, and we're only able to change lives because people like you lend a hand. We're talking about adults that want to boost their CV, parents who want to spend more time as a family, and people who want to make a difference.
Whatever your skillset, lend a hand for as little or as much time as you can, and we promise you'll get more our than you put in.
We are currently looking for people to fill these vital roles:
Section Team Members - Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs or Scouts
Support the running of the section, delivering a balanced program, with the help of the other Section Team Leaders, Section Team Members and Young Leaders.Group Chair
The Chair will lead the Trustee Board, ensuring it fulfils its responsibilities within the Group and District. The Chair will work closely with the Group Lead Volunteer to achieve the purpose of The Scout Association through the development of localGroup Secretary
The Secretary will support the Chair of the Trustee Board to ensure the smooth functioning and sound administration of the Scout Group.Think you can help?
